Mission Statement
It is an incredible blessing to gather together with other women to study the Word, fellowship, and pray! The desire of this ministry is that all would grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This means so much more than just studying books of the Bible to gain “head knowledge. ” We are to grow in our relationship with Jesus, allowing His Spirit to work in and through us as we abide in Him, knowing that as we abide in Him, He gives us the grace to be the women — wives, mothers, daughters, sisters, friends, or mentors — He designed us to be!
We face many trials and temptations; we are bombarded by pressures in society to conform to what the world says a woman should be. But God has made it so simple. In Titus 2:1-6, He gives us an outline to show how women should behave in order to glorify God: “But as for you, speak the things which are proper for sound doctrine: [we are to] be sober, reverent, temperate, sound in faith, in love, in patience; the older women likewise, that they be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things-- that they admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be blasphemed.” God invites you to come and abide in Him, to bear much fruit; fruit that remains because of Him. Calvary Chapel Bible Fellowship and the women’s ministry are designed to equip and encourage the saints to do just that.
