THE VISION
The High School Ministry seeks to empowering the next generation to live out their faith in Jesus Christ boldly and transform their communities with the love of Christ. “Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit [who is] in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.” - 1 Corinthians 6:19-20

Pastor Anthony will be communicating with parents on a frequent bases via-emails. These emails will be the main form of communication between the High School Ministries and the parents and will consist of various topics.

High School Activities
Friday Youth Nights
The High School ministry has transitioned to a new and vibrant Friday Youth Night! We are all taking a step of faith and are excited to see what the Lord wants to do during this trial period. The new Friday Youth Night will be extended to 3 hours (5:30pm - 8:30pm), allowing the youth to dive deeper into their Christian walk, connect with Christ-minded believers, and build lasting relationships.

GOBF - Great Oak Bible Fellowship
GOBF (Great Oak Bible Fellowship) is an outreach ministry and our very own Christian Club at Great Oak High School. The club is an extension of the High School ministry and is focused on Evangelism and Bible Study. Connect with Pastor Anthony for more details.

Becoming a Volunteer
It is required that all volunteers do the following before serving:
- Complete the Distinctive Classes
- Submit a ministry application
- Complete a background check (18+)
Specifics
- Show up to our weekly program
- Connect with teenagers regularly
- Engage with the parents of your teenagers
- Plan one service project for your small group each year
- Attend all special events for teenagers
- Attend events, meetings, and gatherings for volunteers
Qualifications
- Commit to lead the same small group for multiple years
- Love Jesus
- Love teenagers
