The prayer is that we, as a women’s ministry, grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Growth is the natural result of coming together in fellowship centered on His Word. But this involves so much more than studying books of the Bible to gain “head knowledge,” because to grow in our relationship with Jesus, we must allow His Spirit to work in and through us as we abide in Him. As we do, He gives us the grace to be the women–wives, mothers, daughters, sisters, friends, mentors–He designed us to be. It is true that we will face trials, temptations, and be challenged by the pressures from society to conform to the world’s standards. But God made our calling so simple. Titus 2:1–6 outlines God’s design for women, how we are to glorify Him with our lives “But as for you, …be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things… admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the Word of God may not be blasphemed.” I pray God pours out His abundant blessings as you abide in His presence. That you find comfort, courage, strength, power, and peace as you spend time with Him, getting to know Him, becoming more like Him. May your life be seasoned with His Grace as you “Taste and see that the Lord is good…” (Psalm 34:8). Please check out the various groups, studies and events hosted by the Women’s Ministry.
